We are excited to announce that the Pierre Fauchard Academy, India (PFA, India), will hold its 38th Annual Convocation, Awards Ceremony, and Scientific Orations on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Radisson BLU Hotel in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Pierre Fauchard Academy, a prestigious international honor organization for dentists founded in 1936 by Dr. Elmer S. Best, aims to advance the dental profession and recognize outstanding leaders and future leaders in our field. Named after Pierre Fauchard, the ‘Father of Modern Dentistry’, the Academy has grown to nearly 11,000 members across 11 regions and over 142 local sections. In India, we are proud to have awarded fellowship to more than 1,000 dentists, and this year, we will welcome 116 new fellows.
During this prestigious event, we will be honoured by the presence of Dr. Cheryl Bradford Billingsley, International President-PFA, and Mr. Robert Cattoi, Chief Executive Officer, both from USA. Together with PFA India, they will recognize distinguished professionals, new fellows, and award recipients who have excelled in dentistry, presenting them with international certificates and lapel pins etc. We warmly invite former chairpersons, PFA fellows, new fellows, awardees, and distinguished guests to join us in making this occasion truly memorable.

Dr. Cheryl Bradford Billingsley graduated from Medical College of Virginia, with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1990. She is the Past President of the Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Communications Council, an Academy of General Dentistry Delegate for many years, and an AGO Delegate for many years for the Virginia Dental Association. Dr. Billingsley is married with one son who is pursuing his professional degree in Microbiology and Immunology.

Robert brings 30 years of association management experience to the PFA. He is serving in top management positions with the American Board of Family Medicine and with CHADD (Children andAdults withADHD). Robert has an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and a graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Robert and his wife live in Rockville, MD. He has two married daughters. One daughter runs a restaurant group in Washington, DC and the other daughter is a general dentist in central Kentucky.
