The Western Australian section hosted our annual lunch at the Cottesloe Golf Club on the 24th of November 2024. The highlight of the event was in welcoming five new fellows who had made significant contributions to the dental profession beyond the call of duty.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024 the South Carolina Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy held its Annual Meeting and Fellowship Induction Ceremony at the Palmetto Club located in the heart of downtown Columbia, South Carolina.
On February 1st, 2024, the Utah Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy met for its annual breakfast and induction meeting. As is traditional, this meeting coincides with the Utah Dental Association’s Annual Convention. As such, we were honored to have several special guests join with our fellows.
The VIC/TAS Section held their Induction lunch on Saturday 18 May 2024 at Kew Golf club. The event was attended by 48 Fellows with nine inductees attending and two in absentia.
Ms Natasha Long was awarded the Foundation of the Pierre Fauchard Academy Dental Student Scholarship. Awarded to the selected student who demonstrates great potential for developing into an outstanding leader in the profession because of his/her participation in the University, the dental school and/or the community.
Our newest PFA Fellow Saloni Singh was inducted at the SA/NT Section cocktail function held on the evening of Thursday 11th of April. Around thirty PFA Fellows enjoyed the fine food and wine at the Adelaide restaurant George's on Waymouth.
The NY Section Induction & Awards presentation was Friday, May 31. Seven new fellow were inducted and the certificate of Appreciation was presented to Jeffrey L. Eastman, Chief Executive Officer of Remote Area Medical.
In an effort to rebuild Quebec’s Section, Canada held a bilingual event in Montreal. We inducted 7 new Fellows, including the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University. We presented 3 awards and donated $5000 to a local Oral Health Access to Care initiative.
