PFA Washington is  happy to announce that we inducted Dr. Ivy Lin, Dr. Nisha Sharoff and Dr. Stephanie Su into PFA at our meeting and ceremony that was held at the Washington Athletic Club on November 10^th, 2022.  Also in attendance were Dr. Emily Hobart and Dr. Alan Alaa Yassin that were both inducted into the PFA at the national meeting and gala that was held in Houston in October in conjunction with the ADA meeting.  We also presented a grant to deserving second year University of Washington dental student Mini Lin. We heard from Everyone For Veterans’s director Jessica Ellwell.  This is an organization that links volunteer dentists with veterans to receive care.  This wonderful organization was started by our own Washington State PFA member Dr. Teresa Cheng, who was the 2021 ADA Humanitarian Award recipient and the AAP’s 2022 H. Dalton Connor Humaitarian Award recipient. You can check out E4V and see if you would also like to help a deserving veteran at everyoneforveterans.org. Dr. CR Anderegg, region 5 Trustee, gave us a nice update on PFA and the well attended gala in Houston. We had a nice evening of camaraderie.

Our next meeting and induction ceremony will be held at the Washington Athletic Club on Thursday, June 15^th, 2023.  We are expecting quite a few new members and are welcoming more nominations from our members.
