On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the Southern California Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy held its first breakfast meeting (and 51st Annual Meeting) at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel in conjunction with the Annual Session of the California Dental Association (Art + Science of Dentistry). Nine new Fellows were inducted into the PFA--Drs Mouhanned Almajdalamo. Zeynep Barakat, Cheryl Engineer Bhatt, Corinne Devin (U.S. Navy Captain), Joni  A. Forge, Tran Que Han, Brian Y. Hong, Mark S. Kahn, and Lisa B. Popkoff. 

The Pierre Fauchard Academy Nevada Section Induction Ceremony, held on July 24, 2025, was a great success. We were honored to have Dr. James Mah, Dean of UNLV School of Dental Medicine, and Dr. Charles Andregg, PFA Region 5 Trustee, in attendance. Their gracious presence truly elevated the event.

On February 1st, 2024, the Utah Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy met for its annual breakfast and induction meeting. As is traditional, this meeting coincides with the Utah Dental Association’s Annual Convention. As such, we were honored to have several special guests join with our fellows.

From the Pacific Northwest to developing countries around the globe, Drs. Anderegg and Hansen have made humanitarian care a priority throughout their careers. Their professional dedication has brought much-needed care to underserved people and communities, sharing their time and talents with those most in need.

The Washington section had our annual meeting and induction ceremony on June 15th at the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle. We inducted 3 new members: Dr. Kim Trieu, Dr. David Keller and Dr. James Rosenwald.

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, twenty-one Section Chairs from across the United States and Canada attended the Section Chair Summit in Rockville, MD (USA). The Summit included an open house at the PFA International Headquarters and a full-day session for Section Chairs. The group shared ideas and enjoyed the comaraderie of fellowship in the PFA. The Section Chair Summit was sponsored by the PFA Leadership Foundation.
