Lucynda has a lengthy history in dentistry, in fact you could say a lifelong history as her father was a dentist as well as her sister. Dr Raben Graduated with a BA from the University of Kansas. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Dr. Raben subsequently completed a GPR residency with the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation including certification from the New York Institute of Clinical Oral Pathology. Dr. Raben has been active in organized Dentistry since entering the private practice of dentistry with her father, they were the first Father – Daughter practice in Kansas. Her sister is a dentist in Lake Jackson Texas. Dr. Raben has been awarded and acknowledged on numerous occasions. She has been the recipient of of the Dentist of the Year award for both the Wichita District Dental Society and the Kansas Dental Association. Dr. Raben has served on the Delta Dental of Kansas Board of Directors for several years having been elected and reelected by her peers dentists. She has twice held the title of Chair of the Board having been elected by the full board of dentist and nondentist members. Dr. Raben has seved as the dental representative on the Sedgwick County Medical Society board of Project Access, a program providing care to county citizens without insurance or medical assistance. The organization annually provides an average of $10 million in donated care and has been modeled throught the country because of the high rate of success.
