Graduated from University College Cork, (Ireland) Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997. Awarded the All-Ireland Intervarsity Undergraduate Research Award (IADR) in 1995 and served as Chairperson for the University Dental Society during his undergraduate years. Clinically, Paul has worked in general dental practice and oral surgery. Paul was awarded the Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2015, and is currently pursuing doctoral research into clinician/patient communication. Paul’s PhD studies are mixed with clinical work in oral surgery and lecturing at the RCSI. Paul’s wife and four daughters share his love of the outdoors, particularly the walking/hiking trails around his native Tipperary.
