2026 PFA Massachusetts breakfast induction at Yankee Dental Congress included 8 new inductees and over 60 in attendance!

Dr. Shilpi Joshi, DMD, BDS, FICD, FPFA, was recently honored with the Lucy Hobbs Project Humanitarian Award (2026, Humanitarian Category), which recognizes exceptional contributions to advancing oral health and improving access to care for underserved populations.

On January 31, 2025, the Massachusetts Chapter of the Pierre Fauchard Academy held it's Annual Breakfast meeting to induct new fellows. About 45 fellows were in attendance, including Dr. Jay Skolnick, our new Trustee. Dr. Robert Lewando was awarded the Distinguished Dentist Award for his years of service, espcially in the access to care arena, and in Insurance company policy.

The NY Section Induction & Awards presentation was Friday, May 31. Seven new fellow were inducted and the certificate of Appreciation was presented to Jeffrey L. Eastman, Chief Executive Officer of Remote Area Medical.

Congratulations to Dr. Saniya Setia and Dr. Adam Saltz, two new PFA Section Chairs who are included in the ADA 10 new dentists who are demonstrating excellence in their work and inspiring others.

The PFA Pennsylvania Section inducted four new Fellows into the Academy at their recent meeting in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Dental Association Meeting in Blue Bell, PA.

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, twenty-one Section Chairs from across the United States and Canada attended the Section Chair Summit in Rockville, MD (USA). The Summit included an open house at the PFA International Headquarters and a full-day session for Section Chairs. The group shared ideas and enjoyed the comaraderie of fellowship in the PFA. The Section Chair Summit was sponsored by the PFA Leadership Foundation.
